Resources for Listening & Practice - real Portuguese, from Portugal
The #1 rule of learning a language fast: listen to a LOT of Portuguese you can mostly understand, every day. Start easy and climb. All of these are European Portuguese (from Portugal, not Brazil), so the accent and words match your study sheet. Tap any card to open it in a new tab.

How to actually learn from listening (not just hear it): Passive watching teaches almost nothing. Make it active with the 3-pass method - (1) Listen once with no text, just to catch the gist. (2) Listen again with the transcript/subtitles and look up a few key words. (3) Listen a third time with no text - you'll be amazed how much more you understand. Bonus: shadowing - pause and repeat a sentence out loud, copying the rhythm. Most podcast apps let you slow playback to 0.75x when it's too fast.

A simple daily routine (~30-40 min)

~15 minListen - one beginner podcast or video from above (3-pass method). This is the biggest lever.
~10 minFlashcards - the Cartões page. Spaced repetition burns vocab into long-term memory.
~10 minPractice - a round of the Quiz or the Sentence Builder to actively recall and use what you know.
all dayMicro-immersion - phone language set to Portuguese, name objects around the house, narrate your day in your head.
Consistency beats cramming: 30 minutes every day beats 3 hours once a week. And a real conversation once or twice a week (a cheap online tutor on italki or Preply, ~$8-15/hr) is the single biggest accelerator - it makes everything else stick.
The secret weapon: a real reason and a deadline. Booking a trip to Portugal, or having someone to text in Portuguese, will teach faster than any app - it turns "I should" into "I need to." If a trip is even remotely possible, that's the best learning tool there is.
